It’s time to reveal the results of our Set it Free Challenge!
Join us Saturday, June 8 at 10 a.m. for our June meeting, which will feature extended show-and-tell and a potluck party.
Back in February, more than 20 ChattMQG members swapped fat quarters of fabric to set free in an exciting challenge. Please bring your finished quilts (or quilt tops) and a finger food to share with the group.
Visitors and prospective members are always welcome to attend meetings, so grab a friend!
We’ll also open up registration for our upcoming workshop with award-winning quilter Elaine Wick Poplin. She’s coming to Chattanooga in September to teach us free-motion quilting on a domestic machine.
The six-hour workshop is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church. It costs $60 for ChattMQG members and $75 for nonmembers. If you want to participate, please bring cash or check to the meeting to secure your spot.
