Join the Chattanooga Modern Quilt Guild on Saturday, March 9, at 10 a.m. as we welcome professional artist Durinda Cheek for a hands-on lecture on color harmony and theory. Color theory can be applied to quilting and many other creative art forms.
Durinda will discuss the properties of color and how to enhance color schemes in your work. We'll look at color combinations and why they seem to go together, how to use a color wheel, and then create our own color collage. This information is important in designing quilts and in selecting fabrics.
Please bring a glue stick and scissors for cutting paper.
