Our July meeting program is all about a time-honored skill that has found new life among modern quilters: visible mending.
Join us Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m. as we examine a variety of ways to repair or embellish quilts, clothing, home decor items, and more. See one of those sashiko sewing machines in action, and learn several useful hand-stitching techniques.
Guild members Sara Bradshaw, Sherry Leary, Stephanie Quesinberry, Patricia Steadman, and Helen Wiley put together an excellent presentation with tons of samples you can see and touch. You’re encouraged to bring any items from home that need mending, along with show-and-tell.
See you soon!
